About The Position
Job Title: Family Medicine Physician - OB/GYNJob Specialty: Family Medicine - ObstetricsJob Duration: 13 monthsShift: 24-hour shifts (7 a.m. to 7 a.m.)Guaranteed Hours: Not specifiedExperience: Not specifiedLicense: Active Kansas License highly preferred, open to candidates willing to obtain a licenseCertifications: - Board Certification in Family Medicine with Obstetrics Required or Board Eligible (0-5 years from residency completion)- Active Basic Life Support (BLS) Required for credentialing- Active DEA Required for credentialingMust-Have:- Agreement to expectations as per the provided checklist- Compliance with Kansas Malpractice Insurance requirements- Understanding of EMR training requirements- Clean malpractice history highly preferred- Procedure logs for the past 24 months, including a minimum of 50 C-sections and 50 vaginal deliveries, with at least 20 of each in the last 12 monthsJob Description:- Provide coverage for gaps in the Family Medicine OB/GYN unit- Work in a clinic setting during weekdays, managing OB/GYN patients, including new obstetrics, established obstetrics, new gynecology issues, and surgical consultations- Conduct surgical procedures twice per week for non-emergent surgeries- Perform all obstetric and gynecology procedures, including a minimum of 5 C-sections and 5 hysterectomies in the last 24 months- Participate in 24-hour call shifts, including handling emergency gynecology and obstetric cases- Collaborate with a team that includes lab techs, LPN/LVNs, MAs, X-ray techs, and RNs- Work alongside CRNAs and midwives- Participate in virtual EMR training and complete modules before the start date- Provide services in both clinic and inpatient call settings- Handle a patient population that includes adults and adolescents- Be part of a facility with a Level 2 NICU, with support from neonatal nurse practitioners and tele-neonatologists- Utilize available support from skilled general surgeons and urologists- Access critical care physicians and cardiologists for backupApply now to be a part of our team dedicated to providing exceptional Family Medicine and OB/GYN care.
