A facility with more than 300 beds is seeking a pulmonary critical care physician for locum tenens coverage.
The facility is located in western Ohio.
The ICU has an average daily census of 8 to 12 patients, along with 3 to 5 inpatient pulmonary consults. It is currently an open ICU with mandatory consults, though the hospital aims to transition to a closed ICU. The unit consists of 16 beds.
Dates Needed: May - Ongoing
Call Ratio/Schedule: PHYSICIAN SHIFT TIMES 0700 – 1900 and call
Case Load/PPD: 8 to 12 with 3-5 IP pulmonary consults
Shift Type: Day Shift; Call
Assignment Type: Inpatient
Assignment Duration: Locums
Shift Times: PHYSICIAN SHIFT TIMES 0700 – 1900, and call
Procedures Required: All general procedures: Intubations, central lines, arterial lines, bronchoscopy, lumbar puncture, thoracentesis, paracentesis
