About The Position
Opportunity Details
A central Michigan hospital has an opportunity for a skilled Pathologist to assist their team.
Opportunity Details :
- Schedule : Monday-Friday, 8a-5p
- Rotating Call : Friday at 5p to following Friday at 8a, every other week
- Case Volume : 35-50 cases read per day
- Procedures : Hematology, microbiology, chemistry / serology, blood bank
- Anatomic Pathology Procedures : Surgical, GI pathology, GU pathology, neuropathology, dermatopathology, hematopathology, cytology
- GI biopsies, breast biopsies, and neuropathology are most common
- Will gross your own specimens and cut your own frozen sections
- Support Staff : 1 additional pathologist, histotechnologists
- EMR and Dictation : NovoPath, Allscripts Sunrise
- Must be board-certified
- Paid travel & expenses
