About The Position
Job Title: Radiation OncologistJob Specialty: Radiation OncologyJob Duration: 13 weeksShift: Day - 5x8 - 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, 40 HoursGuaranteed Hours: Not specifiedExperience: Board Certified Radiation Oncologist with relevant clinical experienceLicense: Active state license or interstate medical licensure compact requiredCertifications: Board Certified in Radiation OncologyMust-Have: COVID Vaccine, ability to start as soon as possible upon credentialingJob Description:- Seeking a full-time Radiation Oncologist to provide temporary coverage.- Schedule: 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, includes a 30-minute lunch break.- No call responsibilities.- Provider must commit to working in 4-week blocks with the option to take time off between these periods.- Solo practice setting with no other Radiation Oncologists present during coverage.- Handle an average of 20-25 outpatient cases per day including treatment visits, follow-ups, and consults.- Manage 0-1 inpatient cases per day, if needed.- Treat adult patients; no trauma level emergencies expected.- Proficient in Aria EMR documentation is highly preferred.- Expertise required in various radiotherapy procedures: Conventional Radiotherapy, 3D Radiotherapy, IMRT, IGRT, 3D-CRT, SBRT, Stereotactic Radiosurgery, Photon Beam Radiation Therapy, and Fractionated Stereotactic Radiotherapy.- Temporary privileges credentialing timeframe is approximately 30-60 days.- Local candidates or those within driving distance are highly preferred.
