About The Position
Job Title: Medical Radiation OncologistJob Specialty: Radiation OncologyJob Duration: 13 weeksShift: Days M-F 8a-4:30pGuaranteed Hours: Not specifiedExperience: Not specifiedLicense: Ohio State License - REQUIREDCertifications: BLS, Board CertifiedMust-Have:- Board Certification- Ohio State License- BLS CertificationJob Description:- Practice setting involves splitting time between two Radiation Oncology sites.- The role is to cover paternity leave for a colleague.- You will work alongside two other Radiation Oncologists who will cover the opposite location.- Two Advanced Practice Providers provide additional coverage.- In Lima, the average number of outpatients per day is 25-30; in Celina, it is 10-12.- Inpatient care in Lima typically involves 1-2 patients per day.- Work involves a Level 2 trauma designation.- The patient population is primarily adult.- Documentation is managed through Mosaiq and Epic EMR systems.- Required Procedures: 3D Radiotherapy, Conventional Radiotherapy, External Beam Radiation (3D-CRT, IGRT, IMRT), Stereotactic Body Radiation Therapy (SBRT), Stereotactic Radiosurgery, Fractionated Stereotactic Radiotherapy.- Responsibilities include ordering tests and images, and prescribing treatments.- Estimated credentialing timeframe is 90-120 days.- Travel-related costs such as flight, hotel, rental car, and mileage are reimbursable at the IRS standard rate.
