As a Locum Tenens PA, you will provide comprehensive primary healthcare services to factory employees, including diagnosing and treating acute and chronic conditions, conducting physical exams, and ensuring employees' overall well-being.
About the Position
This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic occupational health setting, providing care to a diverse group of employees. You will be responsible for:
- Providing comprehensive primary healthcare services, including routine check-ups, vaccinations, and chronic disease management
- Responding promptly to urgent medical cases, accidents, and injuries
- Collaborating with off-site healthcare providers and specialists for employee referrals and continuity of care
- Prescribing medications following established guidelines and monitoring medication management
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records, documenting medical histories, treatments, and prescribed medications
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- An active OH license
- Board Certification (BC)
- A DEA certification
- At least 1-2 years of experience in occupational medicine or a related field
- BLS and CPR certifications (preferred)
