Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Dermatologist for a locum tenens assignment in California. The ideal candidate will have experience in general dermatology and be comfortable with EPIC or other computer systems.
The assignment is for 10 weeks, starting mid-January or end of January, and will require the physician to work 4 days a week from Tuesday to Friday. The average number of patients per day is expected to be around 25. The schedule can be flexible, with options ranging from 7:30 am to 4:30 pm or 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. No onsite pharmacy is available, and candidates with previous DUI or criminal records will not be considered.
Responsibilities include prescribing systemic biologic therapies for psoriasis, isotretinoin (Accutane), and seeing pediatric dermatology patients. No cosmetics will be needed, and the physician should be comfortable communicating with patients directly.
Our company offers a single point of contact and 24/7 recruiter access, allowing for agility in approval and decision-making processes. Online time-keeping and expense reimbursement are also available, eliminating the need for faxing, handwriting, or scanning time cards.
