About the Facility
A cancer center affiliated with a hospital is seeking a board-certified medical oncologist for locum tenens coverage. This outpatient opportunity includes hospital consults during regular business hours, Monday through Friday, with no night or weekend coverage.
This role involves a 60/40 split between hematology and oncology. The team consists of experienced professionals, including two MDs, three APPs, RNs, and full office staff using Epic with Beacon.
The ideal candidate will have expertise in both hematology and oncology and be certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) in Medical Oncology. Tele/hybrid schedules are an option, and the facility is willing to assist with licensing requirements.
Additional job details include a case load of 12 patients per day, support staff consisting of two other oncologists, three APPs, RNs, and full office staff, and a patient population focused on adults.
