Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and experienced psychiatrist to provide locum tenens coverage at our facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medication management and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Duties and Responsibilities
The selected individual will be responsible for managing an established panel of patients, focusing on medication management. They will also provide IOP coverage twice a week and round on up to 15 inpatients per weekend. The position requires one weekend of call per month, starting Friday at 5 PM.
Requirements
The successful candidate will possess a medical degree and be board certified or eligible. They must also have experience working with patients with various mental health conditions, including bipolar disorder, depression, anxiety, ADHD, and psychosis. Prescriptive authority is required for this position.
