Anesthesia Services Job Description
We are seeking a skilled anesthesiologist to provide locum tenens coverage at a hospital located in a rural area. The ideal candidate will have experience in anesthesia services, including bread-and-butter procedures, stents in the cath lab, general surgery, light ENT, and orthopedic blocks. Additionally, the physician will be involved in OB care, including approximately 650-700 deliveries per year.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide anesthesia services for patients undergoing various medical procedures
- Work closely with a team of 4 MDAs and 5 CRNAs to ensure seamless patient care
- Participate in OB care, including epidurals performed by CRNAs
Requirements
- Board certification in anesthesiology
- Prescriptive authority required
- Able to work autonomously in a CRNA model
