Position Overview :
Locus’ Impact Investment Services (IIS) team supports foundations and community development investors in their pursuit of impact goals by helping them to design, develop and manage guarantee programs and other investment funds.
As a key member of the Impact Investment Services team, the Data & Compliance Analyst will work collaboratively with Locus colleagues to automate data analysis and create and manage reporting for guarantee and investment funds managed by Locus. This position will play an important role in the rollout of a new database including implementing data feeds and automated reporting. This will require proficient knowledge of the business area supported, well-developed data and analysis skills, along with expert knowledge of and experience with several of the most widely-used management information tools for data reporting, visualization, and analysis.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Work collaboratively to lead data analytics and compliance for the IIS team.
- Partner with the IIS team to translate data into tools, metrics, and dashboards for insights and data visualization.
- Create reports for internal team members, external clients, and a variety of stakeholders including Locus board members.
- Interface with internal and external parties to create reports (recurring and ad hoc) that reflect fund objectives and other business needs. Work with team members to identify report objectives and then identify, collect, analyze, and visualize data with graphs, infographics, and other methods. Edit and modify said reports as required.
- Automate monthly, quarterly, and annual reports from a variety of data sources.
- Manage and standardize data input files; teach users to adopt data management best practices re : formatting, consistency and completeness of data.
- Ensure external data from third parties is complete, organized, and delivered on time.
- Identify, research, and resolve data anomalies to ensure data quality; work with internal and external stakeholders to maintain quality data input.
- Maintain and update compliance frameworks ensuring alignment with organization standards and contractual agreements regarding data and reporting on various funds.
- Identify opportunities to streamline and enhance compliance processes through technology or procedural improvements; collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement these solutions.
- Seek to understand business needs to ensure that analytics and reporting are meaningful and aligned to business objectives.
- Leverage Azure and other data sources to automate reporting and analysis.
- Display complex qualitative and quantitative data in a simple, intuitive format and to present findings in a clear and concise manner.
- Utilize knowledge of process and systems to advise cross-functional teams on data capture and analysis.
- Model and document data management best practices for organization wide adoption.

Salary : $120,000 - $135,000
