Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Program Manager to join our team. The Mental Health Program Manager oversees the development, implementation, and evaluation of mental health programs at Locust Street Resource Center, ensuring high-quality care and compliance with organizational and regulatory standards. This leadership role requires a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to provide clinical oversight, support staff development, and collaborate with community stakeholders.
Responsibilities
Program Management
- Plan, implement, and monitor mental health programs to align with the organization’s mission and objectives.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as accreditation standards.
- Analyze program data to identify trends, improve outcomes, and recommend enhancements.
Clinical Oversight
- Provide clinical supervision to licensed and non-licensed staff as needed.
- Develop and implement evidence-based treatment protocols and practices.
- Maintain an active caseload of clients, as appropriate, to model best practices.
Team Leadership
- Recruit, train, and evaluate program staff.
- Foster a positive, collaborative, and inclusive workplace culture.
- Facilitate regular staff meetings, providing guidance and addressing challenges.
Community Engagement and Collaboration
- Represent the organization in community forums and professional settings.
- Build and maintain partnerships with community agencies, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders.
- Promote mental health awareness and advocate for resources and services.
Administrative Responsibilities
- Assist in the development and management of program budgets.
- Prepare reports on program performance and outcomes for internal and external stakeholders.
- Participate in grant writing and fundraising efforts to support program sustainability.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as accreditation standards.
- Analyze program data to identify trends, improve outcomes, and recommend enhancements.
Experience
Required
- Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, or a related field.
- Active LCPC or LCSW licensure in the state of Illinois.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in clinical practice, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of evidence-based mental health practices and interventions.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred
- Experience working in a rural or underserved community.
- Familiarity with grant management and funding processes.
- Training in trauma-informed care and integrated healthcare models.
