JOB SUMMARY: The Valet Supervisor is responsible for assisting in overseeing daily hotel valet operations and supervising valet attendants, ensuring the highest level of guest satisfaction and efficient vehicle management.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Oversee the daily responsibilities of valet attendants, including parking, retrieving, and delivering vehicles to guests.
- Train and mentor valet attendants, implementing corrective actions when needed.
- Monitor valet operations to guarantee compliance with all Canopy Parking procedures.
- Relay any issues or concerns to the Valet Manager.
- Address any guest complaints and resolve them promptly and professionally, escalating to the Valet Manager when necessary.
- Assess and evaluate the performance of the valet team, offering suggestions for enhancements in quality and efficiency.
- Enforce safety protocols to protect guests, staff, and vehicles.
- Ensure clean and orderly parking areas to optimize space usage.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA standards to maintain a safe working environment.
- Be knowledgeable about hotel emergency procedures and respond appropriately.
- Supervisor will actively participate in the operation of parking and retrieving cars.

- Customer-focused with strong time management and problem-solving skills
REQUIRED/PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- At least one year of leadership experience, preferably in a valet or hospitality setting
- Must possess valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- Knowledge of Michigan driving laws and vehicle usage (manual and automatic transmissions)
- Previous experience working in fast-paced environments with high customer expectations
- High School diploma or equivalent
ADDITIONAL ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS
Valid driver’s license and safe driving record – satisfactory criminal background screening required

SUPERVISORY RESPONSBILITY
This position supervises all hotel valet attendants.
