What are the responsibilities and job description for the Graphic Designer position at Lodgeworks?
Graphic Designer | Full-Time | LodgeWorks Home Office (Wichita, KS)
Bring visual storytelling to life across a growing portfolio of boutique hotels and hospitality brands — from concept to execution.
We’re looking for a talented, experienced graphic designer to join our in-house marketing team. This role is hands-on and full-spectrum: You’ll collaborate with a small, tight-knit team to bring ideas to life — contributing to creative direction, developing conceptual designs, and executing final production. As a key creative partner in a dynamic, design-forward hospitality company, you’ll help shape the guest experience across digital and physical touchpoints — from hotel branding and restaurant menus to email campaigns, sales tools, signage, and social.
If you’re a strategic designer who thrives on both big-picture thinking and detailed execution — and you’re excited to build something special with a collaborative team — let’s talk.
Who We Are
LodgeWorks is a hotel development and management company. While our name may not be on the buildings, our culture is at the heart of 18 hotels across the U.S. — including our award-winning Archer Hotel boutique collection and top brands like Hyatt Place, Hyatt House, Aloft and Hampton Inn.
For more than 40 years, we’ve led with innovation and hospitality. Headquartered in Wichita, Kansas with 1,100 team members nationwide, we’re passionate about design, storytelling and delivering extraordinary guest experiences.
Your Day-To-Day
You’ll collaborate closely with our marketing, branding and digital teams to concept, design and produce a wide range of creative projects, including:
- Design and Production (50%) – Create, update and manage designs for a variety of marketing materials, including collateral, menus, signage, emails, website assets and more.
- Concept and Collaboration (50%) – Develop creative concepts and execute design projects in close partnership with the marketing team.
- Create, update and refine brand collateral to maintain a consistent, cohesive visual identity across all touchpoints.
- Manage hotel and food & beverage design materials — including the creation and regular updating of menus.
- Ensure all design work aligns with established brand guidelines and overall marketing goals.
- Work closely with print and production vendors to ensure high-quality execution and delivery of materials.
- Stay current with design trends, tools and best practices to contribute fresh ideas and inspiration to the team.
- Maintain organized digital assets using our digital asset manager and internal server.
You’ll also help streamline our menu update process, maintain consistency across brand systems, and serve as a key visual steward across all platforms and properties.
What We’re Looking For
- 3–5 years of graphic design experience (in-house or agency)
- Strong portfolio showcasing conceptual thinking, design chops and production execution
- Mastery of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
- Strong layout, typography and brand storytelling skills
- Experience with website design (not coding), email marketing and signage production
- Organized, detail-driven and deadline-oriented
- Collaborative spirit and clear communicator
- Hospitality, F&B or luxury/lifestyle branding experience is a plus
- Bonus points for CMS or digital asset management experience
We’re looking for a designer who loves rolling up their sleeves — thinking big, sweating the small stuff, and shaping memorable guest-facing moments at every turn.
