The White House Hotel is seeking a dynamic, service-oriented Sales Coordinator to join our team! The Sales Coordinator is accountable for all aspects of hotel-related reservations including but not limited to; upselling room types, billing corrections, pre-assignment of multiple room reservations, pre-arrival preparation, meet & greets, posting master creation, as well as customer-oriented internal systems. This position will handle the clerical aspects of room blocks for the hotels and event sales.
Minimum Requirements:
· Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent years of relevant work experience required.
· Prior hotel sales or events sales experience highly preferred
· Prior experience using Windows-based software including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook is required.
· Applicant must possess the following:
o Excellent communication and organizational skills
o Strong selling and negotiating skills
o Superior customer service skills
o Ability to work independently
· May be required to travel
· Use of personal vehicle may be required
· Able to work a flexible schedule.

Essential Job Functions:
· Develop relationships with incoming multi-reservation guests, personalizing/enhancing their experience prior to arrival and creating lasting memories.
· Interact and build relationships with guests to generate brand awareness and engagement.
· Work directly with Group Sales to drive awareness of the hotel and food & beverage outlets in on property outlets.
· Organize administrative documents pertaining to upcoming events.
· Assist with creating and updating property calendars, BEO’s & sell out strategies.
· Perform various other duties as assigned
Customer/Guest Service Functions:
· Responsible for providing excellent customer service to internal and external customers.
· Reinforce company standards of customer service and create a high-quality customer experience.
· Offer guests assistance whenever possible.
· Responsible for assisting in resolving escalated customer relations issues.
· Answers inquiries pertaining to hotel policies and services.
· Must appropriately address guest requests to ensure customers are satisfied with the hotel’s services and accommodations.
· Responsible for positively representing and promoting the property.
Training Functions:
· Provide in-service training as needed and/or requested.
Other Functions:
· Follow and communicate company policies and procedures.
· Provide written reports as requested by the Director of Sales and/or General Manager.
