We are seeking an enthusiastic and service-driven Pool Bartender to join our team. As a Pool Bartender, you will provide exceptional service to guests at the bar/lounge and ensure that the bar operates efficiently and profitably. What You Will Be Doing:

• Maintain in-depth knowledge of all bar menu items, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, to assist guests with selections and recommendations.
• Mix and serve drinks according to standard recipes and ensure correct measurements of alcohol.
• Open and serve wine/champagne bottles to guests.
• Process transactions accurately through the POS system and present checks to guests.
• Report any liquor or inventory shortages to the manager immediately.
• Arrange bottles and glasses in an attractive display and merchandise drinks to enhance the guest experience.
• Prepare garnishes by slicing and pitting fruit in accordance with food safety guidelines.
• Ensure compliance with state liquor laws, including checking identification to verify the legal drinking age of guests.
• Follow alcohol awareness training protocols to prevent over-serving guests.
• Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, tables, and tools, ensuring an orderly and inviting space.
• Restock supplies such as ice, glassware, and paper products; keep bar well-stocked with liquor and other necessary items.
• Wash soiled glassware and clear the bar area of unused items.
• Complete closing duties, including restocking, securing the bar, and preparing the cashier report.
• Greet guests with a warm welcome, anticipate their needs, and ensure their satisfaction by providing exceptional service throughout their visit.

What We Are Looking For:

• Must be 21 or older.
• High school education or equivalent.
• Minimum of one (1) year of bartending experience.
• Knowledge of bar cleaning techniques, equipment, and safe food handling practices.
• Familiarity with beer, wine, spirits, and standard drink recipes.
• Ability to use POS equipment and process transactions accurately.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests, co-workers, and management.
• Ability to follow liquor control measures, including portion controls and bottle requisition policies.
• Must possess a valid alcohol serving permit and food handler's permit.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
