JOB SUMMARY

The Marketing Manager supports the execution and development of property and outlet marketing plans. This role is responsible for assisting with assigned tasks related to search engine optimization (SEO), website, and online travel agency (OTA) content management, digital paid media campaigns, marketing analysis, and presentation decks.

Primary duties consist of performing office or non-manual work directly related to management or general business operations. Work includes the exercise of discretion and independent judgment with respect to matters of significance.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Provides dedicated, hands-on marketing support to hotel teams through regular communication, collaboration, and participation.
  • Implements marketing strategies via annual marketing plans for assigned portfolio of hotels and ancillary outlet(s).
  • Works closely with the Corporate Commercial Strategy Team to help develop cohesive marketing initiatives, processes, action plans, and strategies.
  • Collaborates with property revenue teams to develop and implement promotional strategies.
  • Serves as brand guardian, verifying all hotel and outlet marketing reflects brand voice.
  • Responsible for the new photography process from pre-shoot planning and sourcing, oversight of post-production, and photography distribution process.
  • Manages online content of all major sites including property websites, OTA sites, third party and local listings.
  • Manages property email marketing strategy for assigned properties.
  • Oversees agency partners on execution of property-specific marketing strategies including but not limited to SEO, paid media, email marketing, social media, reputation management, graphic design, public relations, etc.
  • Communicates key marketing metrics and reports to hotel teams, corporate leadership, and stakeholders; establishes and maintains a frequent, regular cadence.
  • Creates and maintains website landing pages as applicable.
  • Collaborates with property teams to set property social media strategy and target segments.
  • Manages paid media strategy implementation and ongoing optimization.
  • Assists in reviewing social media content calendars to ensure consistent brand voice and property messaging.
  • Attendance is a key component of this position.
  • Maintains a professional appearance in accordance with Company standards; wears the appropriate uniform or attire.
  • Maintains open and effective communication with team members and management.
  • Attends and participates in team meetings.
  • Adheres to established safety and emergency procedures and protocols, this includes Company, federal, and state specific regulations and guidelines.
  • Completes all required Company training / compliance courses as assigned.
  • Adheres to Company standards and maintains compliance with all policies and procedures.
  • Performs other related duties and responsibilities as assigned.

EDUCATION

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or equivalent in related field.
  • EXPERIENCE

  • A minimum two (2) years of experience in the marketing / eCommerce field required.
  • A minimum two (2) years of experience in the hospitality / hotel field required.
  • SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

    This position does not include any supervisory responsibilities.

  • TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

  • Close Vision : Clear vision at 20 inches or less. Required to perform an activity such as preparing and analyzing data, transcribing, viewing a computer terminal, extensive reading or visual inspections.
  • Focus Ability : Ability to adjust the eye to bring an object into sharp focus.
  • Sedentary Work : Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and / or a minor amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met.
