Job Description : Golf Course Mechanic Manager

Position Overview :

The Golf Course Mechanic Manager at Homestead Golf Club is responsible for maintaining and repairing all equipment used on the golf course, including mowers, tractors, aerators, and utility vehicles. This role requires strong mechanical skills, organizational abilities, and the ability to keep equipment in top condition. Experience as a small engine mechanic, in an automotive repair shop, as a fleet mechanic, diesel mechanic, or previous experience at a golf course is highly beneficial and will be essential to success in this role. Knowledge of golf course equipment and operations is also an asset.

Key Responsibilities :

Equipment Maintenance :

Create and manage a preventative maintenance program for all equipment.

• Inspect equipment regularly to identify and address issues.
• Ensure all equipment is serviced according to manufacturer guidelines.
• Keep detailed records of maintenance and repairs.

Repairs & Troubleshooting :

Diagnose and repair mechanical issues with equipment.

Inventory Management :

Manage inventory of parts, tools, and supplies for equipment maintenance.

Budgeting & Cost Control :

Manage the equipment maintenance budget, monitor expenses, and find cost-saving opportunities.

Safety & Compliance :

Ensure all maintenance activities follow safety regulations and best practices.

As the Golf Course Mechanic Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring all equipment runs smoothly, helping maintain a high standard for the golf course's operations and overall experience.
