Homestead Resort & Golf Club is a historical hotel with a unique history dating back to 1886. As part of our ongoing renovation and rebranding, we are seeking a skilled Server to join our team at the new 1886 Grill and Smokehouse.

Main Responsibilities:

• Take orders and deliver food and beverages
• Assist guests with menu recommendations
• Provide exceptional customer experience

Job Description:

Our restaurant prides itself in providing excellent service, which is why we are looking for a Waiter/Waitress who will treat our guests with attentiveness, patience, and a positive attitude. To help our restaurant provide a pleasurable dining experience, a good server should be able to ensure that our guests are fully satisfied by being friendly, courteous, accommodating, and reliable. A suitable candidate for the job should also be a problem-solver and a team player.

Responsibilities of a Server:

• Greet, seat, and escort guests
• Provide menu recommendations and additional information
• Upsell additional products when appropriate
• Check ID's to prevent minors from ordering alcoholic beverages
• Take orders using software, order slips, or by memorization
• Communicate order details to the kitchen staff
• Deliver food and beverages in a timely fashion
• Deliver checks and collecting bill payments
• Clean and maintain the appearance of tables and tableware
• Providing exceptional customer experience

Requirements:

• Prior experience as a server preferred
• Must showcase teamwork and communication skills
• Must be able to handle money transactions responsibly
• Must be able to multitask and act quickly
• Must be flexible and ready to work in shifts
• Must carry at least a high school diploma
