Life as a Sales Coordinator:
- Lead and manage all sales activities to achieve property sales objectives.
- Execute and support operational aspects of business booked including proposals and contracts.
- Participate in sales calls with the Sales Manager/ Director to acquire and cl.ose new business.
- Collaborate with all hotel departments to coordinate all sales information
- Attend and participate in daily/weekly Sales Meetings, training seminars and other management requested meetings.
- Develop and maintain rapport with competitor hotels, Convention and Visitors Bureau, Chamber of Commerce.
- Drive customer loyalty through excellent service and relationship building
- Serve the customer by understanding their needs and recommending appropriate features and services that best meet their needs
- Build and strengthen relationships with existing and new customers to enable future bookings.
- Effectively resolve guest issues and implement process improvement
- Establish clear expectations for customers and properties throughout the sales process
- Participate in community activities, employee functions and guest events
- Document and track all sales activities in Delphi
- Assist with hotel marketing initiatives
What we're looking for:
- High school diploma; or 1-2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience considered.
- Preferred of 1 year of hotel experience, preferably in a major brand
- Strong attention to detail interpersonal relations, sales negotiations and planning/organization.
- Proficiency in Google Suite and Microsoft Office
