Lodging Host Hotel Corp is searching for an attentive laundry attendant to support the functions of the Holiday Inn Express - Farmington, NM. The laundry attendant's responsibilities include cleaning, drying, and folding towels, sheets, and other textile articles, while paying close attention to recognize any possible damage. Laundry Attendants work side-by-side with Housekeeping Room Attendants to ensure they have the supplies needed to give guests the best possible experience.
There is possibility for additional hours if willing/able to cross-train in other departments.
Laundry Attendant Responsibilities:
- Sorting, washing, drying, and folding towels, sheets, and other textile items.
- Removing stains from items using the appropriate procedures.
- Keeping an updated inventory of laundry detergents and various types of linens.
- Ensuring that the facility remains clean at all times.
Laundry Attendant Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent is a plus.
- Prior experience in a similar role is preferable but not required.
- Familiarity with cleaning detergents and laundering equipment.
- Ability to stand for long periods.
- Capacity to lift up to 20 pounds unaided.
- Outstanding organizational and time management skills.
- Personable disposition with a knack for customer service.
