What we’re looking for:
The Project Coordinator is responsible for the coordination of small, medium and large projects, customer order tracking, change orders, and expediting.
What you will be doing as a key player on our dynamic team:
- Effectively communicates with purchasing, warehouse and customers on specific details and needs of the project.
- Purchases specified materials and arranges for delivery in accordance with project requirements.
- Enters orders and processes change orders in Job Management system.
- Maintains financial integrity of the project and is responsible for the accuracy of the customer PO agreement.
- Communicates with factory/agency reps to confirm shipment of specified materials to ensure the project timeline and schedules are being met.
- Respond promptly to customer communication and provide solutions in a timely manner.
- Files freight, ballast/driver/breaker and defective material claims.
- Prepares weekly expedite and shipping reports for all projects.
- Compiles specification sheets and transmittals for all projects.
- Process returns and credits and follow through to completion.
- Compiles project closeout documents in a timely manner.
- Actively maintains open order report and closes out open remaining balances.
- Participate in off-site customer and/or vendor meetings as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Highly organized and detail oriented.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Strong customer service focus.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Able to work independently; receives minimal guidance on day-to-day work and deliverables.
Experience:
- 1 year in a customer service position or prior experience working in an office setting.
- Experience in the electrical industry.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with Eclipse and Fuse
Education:
- Highschool Diploma or equivalent.
