What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Specialist (2nd shift, 2p-10:30p) position at Loeb Electric?
The Warehouse Specialist is responsible for all aspects of the warehouse functions including receiving, stocking, handling, staging, shipping, and preparing products for customer delivery while maintaining a safe work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Selects products and materials from shelves using an RF scanner and prepares items for shipping.
- Prepares orders for shipping by placing material in auditing and staging areas.
- Checks material for damage and confirms correct items and quantities are selected.
- Ensures material picked is correct and damage-free.
- Attaches identifying tags or labels to material and/or marks information on boxes, cases, pallets, or other containers.
- Assembles and fills orders to be shipped to customers and prepares shipping documentation.
- Safely operates all the necessary equipment in warehouse and ensures warehouse/equipment is maintained on a regular basis.
- Performs other general warehouse duties as necessary.
- Follows established safety procedures.
Skills/Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years in a warehouse or distribution environment
- Ability to stand for eight hours a day.
- Able to move/lift to 75 lbs. unassisted.
- Able to push/pull up to 100 lbs. unassisted.
- Able to withstand temperatures in a typical warehouse environment.
- Position spends 100% of time standing, walking, lifting, pulling, and pushing.
- Position may require climbing ladders for top-level selection.

Pay: From $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
