Job Specific
- Reports to work as scheduled, in proper uniform, in accordance with the company's personal appearance standards
- Follows OSHA regulations and all policies and procedures as set forth by the Housekeeping department
- Alters and repairs linens, uniforms, curtains, drapes, bedspreads, and pillows
- Repairs garments delivered by Laundry (example : replaces missing button on shirt)
- Answers and places phone calls to guests regarding needed repairs
- Occasionally visits guestrooms to measure guests to perform clothing alterations or repairs
- Unpacks new uniforms and inspects them for quality and size
- Inscribes new uniforms with identifying marks with marker
- Hangs up uniforms
- Participates in Orientation meetings to size new employees for uniforms
- Maintains employee records regarding number of uniforms issued, size, repairs completed, etc.
- Frequently works near moving mechanical parts
- Encourages a positive attitude among employees and treats guests and other employees with courtesy and respect
- Applies excellent guest relations skills when interacting with guests and staff
- Attends all department meetings as scheduled
- Performs all duties in a timely and professional manner
- Other duties as assigned
