What are the responsibilities and job description for the Halloween Horror Nights - Attendant ( Seasonal) position at Loews Hotels, LLC?
Purpose
Provide support to the Jack'd Up Experience by building and breaking down queue equipment, providing crowd control, and maintaining the flow of the Jack'd Up Experience by monitoring the queue and venue to proactively ensure compliance with safety standards & restrictions.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
Setting up and breaking down stanchions, ropes, and barricades to appropriately configure the length of the queue on a nightly basis.
Maintaining efficiency by loading and unloading guests in a timely manner.
Assisting guests by providing direction, enforcing restrictions, monitoring crowds, performing crowd control duties and addressing safety concerns.
Continuously activating the interactive portions throughout the experience.
Assisting guests with photo ops throughout the experience.
Ensuring safe behavior of guests and team members.
Providing over-the-top service by engaging the guests and evoking the theme or story-line of the assigned area. Enthusiastically greeting and welcoming guests and engaging in a positive, polite and friendly manner when monitoring the queue area and providing direction or safety instructions.
Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Regular attendance in conformance with standards
May be required to work varying schedules to reflect business needs
Required to attend all training sessions and meetings
Education: High school degree or GED is preferred
Experience: 1 year of operational experience, specifically operating a Theme Park Attraction is preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
