About Loews Sapphire Falls Resort
Join the team at our Caribbean-inspired paradise that creates an island escape in a tropical oasis.
Assisting the Executive and departmental Chefs in providing information to cooks, suppliers and other departments. Aids Chefs with the preparation of reports, correspondence, and other relevant information.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain daily payroll and time edits, follow up with Team Member payroll issues, coordinate payroll efforts with secondary departments
- Log and Maintain Banquet Event Orders and Resume Tracking Systems
- Attend daily line ups, Chef's meeting and Food and Beverage Meetings
- Take minutes as needed and requested
- Maintain Team Members files, time log sheets, attendance log sheets and vacation log
- Ensures proper representation in Meetings and Hotel functions
- Schedule forecasting, Leadership schedule
- Maintain and compose departmental reports, develop and maintain filing and tracking systems
- Develop creative menu design / concepts
- Lead and organize and facilitate departmental meetings, events, functions, and classes in house or off property
- Responsible for management of hiring process, staffing, pre-screen, conducts FIT interviews, scheduling Chef / Candidate interviews, maintaining turnover log and organizational chart, applicant tracking, maintain Human Resource Relations
- Maintaining Recipe bank, typing and recipe design
- Completing paperwork, Payroll Status and Action Form, Position Requisitions, Vacation Requests, and Check Requests / Expense Reports
- Assist Executive Steward with light Administrative duties (HR paperwork, signage, etc)
