The Account Manager at Loffredo Fresh Foods is responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of foodservice accounts by building strong relationships, identifying sales opportunities, and driving revenue growth. Key duties include upselling products, providing industry insights, overseeing order fulfillment, resolving customer issues, and analyzing sales trends to enhance client satisfaction. This role requires collaboration with internal teams such as warehouse, logistics, and customer service to ensure smooth operations. Additionally, the Account Manager will track performance metrics, report sales forecasts, and ensure compliance with industry regulations, all while delivering exceptional customer service and fostering long-term partnerships.
Pay: $55,000 – $65,000 base bonus eligibility
What we look for:
- Reliable transportation and ability to pass a motor vehicle check and background check
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in account management, sales, or business development Experience with the foodservice distribution or related industry is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or a related field is preferred
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to develop and maintain strong customer relationships
- Passion for delivering excellent service and creating value for clients
- Ability to travel to customer locations as needed
What you’ll do:
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through in-person and electronic communication
- Address and resolve customer inquiries, concerns, and product-related issues
- Collaborate with internal teams, including warehouse, logistics, and customer service, to ensure smooth operations
- Manage and grow a portfolio of foodservice accounts
- Identify sales opportunities and develop strategies to increase revenue
- Upsell new products and services to existing accounts
