The Account Manager at Loffredo Fresh Foods is responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of foodservice accounts by building strong relationships, identifying sales opportunities, and driving revenue growth. Key duties include upselling products, providing industry insights, overseeing order fulfillment, resolving customer issues, and analyzing sales trends to enhance client satisfaction. This role requires collaboration with internal teams such as warehouse, logistics, and customer service to ensure smooth operations. Additionally, the Account Manager will track performance metrics, report sales forecasts, and ensure compliance with industry regulations, all while delivering exceptional customer service and fostering long-term partnerships.
This position is based in the Cedar Rapids / Iowa City area . While Loffredo Fresh Foods does not have a physical location in this region, the Account Manager will work remotely and actively visit customer locations and manage accounts in the region. Ensuring exceptional service and sales growth. This role requires regular travel within the assigned territory to build relationships, identify new opportunities, and provide in-person support to clients. Occasional travel to Des Moines for sales meetings as needed is required.
Pay : $55,000 - $65,000 base

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in account management, sales, or business development Experience with the foodservice distribution or related industry is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or a related field is preferred

- Proven ability to develop and maintain strong customer relationships
- Passion for delivering excellent service and creating value for clients
- Ability to travel to customer locations as needed
