What We Look For:
- 2 to 4 years of accounting experience, including accounts payable, reconciliations, and general accounting procedures
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (or equivalent experience)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy to ensure financial data integrity
- Critical thinking skills to analyze and resolve discrepancies effectively
- Exceptional time management and organizational skills to meet deadlines
- A high level of professionalism, confidentiality, and ethical standards
- A collaborative mindset to work effectively with team members and vendors
- Excellent written/verbal communication skills for clear and professional interactions
- A willingness to learn, improve processes, and embrace new challenges
What You’ll Do:
- Assists with calculation and preparation of month end and annual financial and operational reports
- Conducts bank reconciliation
- Assists in month end closing process including preparation of journal entries
- Prepare and analyze various accounting reports including variances to budget
- Assist with the development, implementation and documentation of internal and external accounting and operating policies, procedures and process improvements for general accounting functions
- Reconciles assigned balance sheet accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Processes fixed assets by receiving related AP invoices, tracking fixed assets for all companies
- Assists with budgets and forecasting
- Assists with annual audits
- Assists in special projects and completes duties as deemed necessary by management
