We are currently seeking a Transportation Supervisor to join our team in Des Moines, IA.
Key Responsibilities
As a Transportation Supervisor, your duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Providing leadership and support to the transportation team.
- Maintaining and updating the Truck Maintenance Spreadsheet.
- Tracking shuttle truck arrivals and departures.
- Scheduling all pickups for the upcoming week.
- Coordinating runback logistics with drivers.
- Managing trip reports and documentation.
- Operating delivery routes as needed.
- Training new drivers and assisting in their onboarding process.
- Participating in the hiring process for transportation team members.
- Acting as a backup for the routing function.
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you must meet the following requirements:
- Class A CDL license (required).
- 1-2 years of supervisory experience.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Self-directed and capable of working independently.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (advanced working knowledge required).
- Proven problem-solving abilities.
- Effective planning and organizational skills.

- Pay Range: $58,000 - $65,000 per year
