About The Role
The Manager, Creative Concept and Trend is responsible for leading the development of new concepts and trend ideas, based on market fashion trends and inspiration. The Manager will be part of a unique environment that incubates new ideas and promotes creativity, with the vision to inspire the brand. While working through the process to ensure the vision is brought to life. This requires strong sense of fabric, proportion, print and color. As well as interest in what is going on globally and locally in fashion. Strong cross-functional relationships with design, merchandising and marketing are also needed, to ensure the product inspiration and styling carries through from initial design concept to marketing collateral.

This position works in a hybrid model, with three-four days per week worked in the Times Square Tower location and one-two days per week worked remotely.

The impact you can have
- Research, identify trends and conceptualize new ideas that complement existing product or take the LOFT business in a new direction
- Ideate direction of print, pattern and color for each collection
- Stay abreast of trends, new techniques and resources in print design and fabric
- Present new concepts and seasonal ideas to senior management and design for inspiration
- Demonstrate strong awareness of apparel retail and fashion landscape
- Build relationships with Cross-Functional partners and participate as a solution-oriented team member, contributing to a high performing team
- Partner with Merchandising to ensure product buys reflect styling concept
- Partner with Marketing to influence styling of product in marketing collateral
- Partner with Design on print, pattern and color to meet all line plan and development needs
- 4-7 years of experience in design, pattern, textiles and color
- Bachelors or Associates Degree, or equivalent in Design
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong fashion sense, with a sense of brand and client needs
- Detail oriented, with excellent follow-through skills
- Ability to work in a highly collaborative environment
- Strong communication and presentation skills

- The target salary range for this role is: $100,000
