Job Summary

This position will serve as the primary point of contact for all activities related to the development and management of Data Center projects. The role involves overseeing the entire project lifecycle from procurement, logistics, final delivery, and warranty, ensuring all efforts align with brand guidelines and local requirements. The Project Manager will manage communication with internal stakeholders, external consultants, contractors, and suppliers to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet the highest quality standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily including the following.

  • Lead and manage the end-to-end project process, ensuring seamless execution from procurement through delivery and warranty.
  • Maintain constant communication with internal teams, project owners, contractors, and suppliers to ensure the project runs smoothly and stays on track.
  • Create and execute project plans, ensuring they align with customer needs and corporate specifications.
  • Oversee logistics, ensuring all required resources are available and on schedule.
  • Develop and manage project documentation, including status reports, work plans, and presentations.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with team members to maximize productivity and achieve project goals.
  • Identify, assess, and manage risks throughout the project lifecycle, and resolve issues in a timely manner.
  • Ensure safety procedures are followed daily by all project team members.
  • Build and maintain strong internal and external relationships to support project success.
  • Deliver consistent customer service and maintain customer satisfaction throughout the project.
  • Mentor and guide junior team members to enhance their project management skills.
  • Track and report on project progress, providing timely updates to stakeholders.
  • Ensure all projects are completed within budget, on time, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Other duties and projects as assigned.

Qualifications / Experience / Education / Skills :

  • 5-10 years of experience in project management, preferably in the data center or construction industry, with a strong focus on customer-facing roles.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Highly competent in the use of Microsoft Office 360 and other Microsoft products / systems.
  • Strong technical aptitude, including ability to learn new systems quickly and train / support team in adoption.
  • Highly Accountable and a self-starter.
  • Strong reasoning, analytical, and mathematic skills.

  • Job Accountabilities

    Mission : The mission of this position is to remain the main point of contact for activities related to the development of any / all Data Center Projects to include directly managing the entire process of the project, from procurement, logistics, final delivery and warranty. Always respecting and reflecting the brand concept guidelines well as local requirements for Data Center projects. Act as the reference point for all professional representation such as internal VP / Directors, departmental teams, external consultants, contractors, and suppliers to organize, manage and execute corporate specifications to deliver projects within set budgets, time frames, and highest quality standards.

  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively with strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and oral), allowing for cohesive communication internally across departments and effectively with the project owner / customer.

  • Document and analyze information and processes to solve critical business issues.
  • Build and manage (directly or indirectly) teams to meet the resource needs required for each project.
  • Create and execute end-to-end projects plans and revise as appropriate to meet the needs and requirements of the customer.
  • Proactively communicate project details across departmental lines in a clear and concise manner.
  • Coordinate project activities between team members, while maximizing their productivity to achieve project goals.
  • Build internal and external business relationships vital to the success of the project and the organization.
  • Respond to and resolve and / or escalate issues in a timely manner.
  • Identify, assess, and minimize risks throughout the project life cycle.
  • Understand team dynamics and adapt project management methodology as needed to ensure project success.

  • Create and maintain all project documentation pertinent to the project, including but not limited to, status reports, work plans, and presentations.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and make recommendations for change, identifying flaws in logic or assumption errors.
  • Enhance department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests, exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments and / or meeting project milestones.
  • Participate in Weekly On-site meetings and others as requested.

  • Provide project updates to all stakeholders of the project (internally), as well as required updates to project owners / customers.
  • Provide and communicate any deviations in project timelines / milestones.
  • Quarterly

  • Assimilate and communicate status updates regarding all current projects as well as those in the pipeline.
  • Success Metrics :

  • Most Critical Outcome : Maintaining and managing all DC projects assigned.
  • Additional Measurements :
  • Achieving 80% or greater of all project timelines.
