What are the responsibilities and job description for the Electrical Apprentice position at Lofton Staffing & Security?
One of our Covington Clients is looking for a Low Voltage Technician Apprentice. The position will start as an Apprentice working with the Lead Technician to learn the skills necessary to become a State of Louisiana licensed Low Voltage Technician. This position is temp to perm hire!
The technician's duties include : Networking, CCTV Systems, Access Control Systems and any additional low voltage systems in commercial and medical facilities. You will be required to stand on ladders, bending and standing for periods of time.
The position is Monday-Friday 7 : 30am-4 : 00pm paying $15.00 hr.
MUST PASS A DRUG SCREEN AND A CRIMINAL BACKGROUND CHECK!
Requirements : Must have skills :
- Troubleshooting skills
- Attention to detail
- Communication skills
- Proficiency in handling hand tools
- Some basic knowledge of electronics and electrical systems
- Proficiency in safety protocols
- Customer service skills
