Job Title: Hydraulic Salesman
Summary
We are seeking a skilled Hydraulic Salesman to perform various tasks in sales and customer service. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of hydraulic systems, pumps, valves, cylinders, and more.
Responsibilities
- Perform all aspects of sales in the assigned territory, including cold calling, quoting, customer service, and closing.
- Provide engineering specialist direction and technical engineering assistance with regard to hydraulic design and engineering throughout the development, management, and execution of assigned projects.
- Involved in system design and provide input on writing specifications.
- Draft schematics using standard fluid power symbols.
- Identify hydraulic quality and reliability issues to implement solutions and issue formal recommendations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- 5 years of hydraulic design experience.
- 3 years of direct work experience in external sales.
- Solid experience in call control, account development, and time management.
- Planning and managing projects.
- Excellent customer service.
- Working experience in Outlook, QuickBooks, Excel.
