Position Overview
As our Senior Maintenance and Engineering Manager, you will lead the maintenance and engineering team to ensure optimal performance of plant equipment and facilities. This role oversees the planning, scheduling, and execution of maintenance activities, as well as the implementation of capital projects and continuous improvement activities. You will work hand in hand with our Director of Operations in upholding the highest standards of safety, quality, and reliability.
Key Areas of Responsibility
Develop and execute maintenance and engineering strategies to enhance operational efficiency and reliabilityCoordinate with operations and finance teams to create and manage the capital expenditure planOversee preventive and predictive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespanLead continuous improvement initiatives to drive cost reduction and operational excellence throughout OperationsFoster a culture of safety by promoting best practices and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulationsProvide technical guidance and support for the installation, maintenance, and optimization of equipment and facilitiesMonitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify trends and implement corrective actionsConduct root cause analysis for equipment failures and implement solutions to prevent recurrenceEffectively track and manage portfolio of projectsEvaluate and procure tools and resources to enhance maintenance and reliability effortsDevelop and deliver training programs to ensure maintenance staff are skilled and equipped with necessary tools and knowledgeCollaborate with cross-functional teams to support new product development and innovation initiativesLead, inspire, and develop the maintenance and engineering team through regular feedback and professional development plansManage maintenance and repair expense budgetsPosition Salary / Compensation

Bachelor's degree required in Mechanical, Industrial or Electrical Engineering or relevant Operations Management experienceMaster's degree in operations, Business or Operations Managementa plus7 years of experience in maintenance and engineering within a manufacturing environment or Operations Management role10 years engineering work experience in manufacturing operations or related manufacturing experience, food manufacturing background a huge plus5 years supervisory experience in a manufacturing settingLeadership experience with demonstrated responsibility for the Engineering and Maintenance departments which includes full department budget responsibilities of maintenance and CAPEX projectsExcellent problem-solving and analytical skillsExperience working in a cross functional environment with a wide variety of stakeholder groups, a range of employee levels (from hourly employees to executives) as well as external partnersWorking knowledge of food packaging materials and food packaging and processing equipmentPMP CertificationProficiency with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and other relevant softwareExperience in CPG industryDemonstrated experience in applied continuous improvement techniques like Lean / Six SigmaExperience working with Microsoft products and track record of learning new systems and toolsAPPLY NOW!
