Well established, stable, and rapidly growing Regional Construction Company seeks a dynamic and highly experienced Vice President to run our operations based out of Thibodaux.We are a leading commercial and industrial plumbing company that specializes in designing plumbing systems for a wide variety of projects throughout the State of Louisiana and surrounding states. These include retail, medical, industrial, offshore, office buildings and the like. We are proud of the numerous clients we have retained throughout our 40 years in business. We need an innovative leader who can drive our business and who has the vision to expand our business even further by identifying areas of growth.
Position Overview
As our Vice President, you are fully responsible for planning, directing, coordinating, and overseeing all operations activities in the organization, ensuring development and implementation of efficient operations and cost-effective systems to meet current and future needs of the organization. You are fully responsible for managing all functions of the business from sales/business development, customer relations, project management and administration as well as responsible for overall profitability, profit margins and employee engagement.
Position Job Responsibilities
· Establish, implement, and communicate the strategic direction of the organization
· Ensure all company practices are performed safely and ensure that all employees adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures
· Collaborate with Owner President to develop and meet company goals while supplying expertise and guidance on operations, projects, and systems
· Responsible for implementation and accountability regarding the organization’s goals and objectives
- Oversee the successful development, organization, strategic positioning, preparation, and issuance of winning proposals and presentations
· Responsible for implementation and accountability regarding the organization’s goals and objectives
· Identify, recommend, and implement new processes, technologies, and systems to improve and streamline organizational processes and use of resources and materials
· Ensure that departmental decisions and project plans such as those for staffing, development, organization, material efficiency, hardware acquisitions, and facilities are in line with the organization’s business plan and vision
· Establish, communicate, and implement operations-related policies, practices, standards, and security measures to ensure effective and consistent support and execution
· Reviews and approves cost-control reports, cost estimates, and staffing requirements for projects
· Manages and monitors projects budgets and has overall responsibility for the profitability of projects and company overall
· Maintains knowledge of emerging technologies and trends in the industry
· Provides feedback to department leads regarding productivity and work product
- Directs and supervises project managers and superintendents’ activities
- Assist in any duties required to deliver a quality product on schedule
Position Compensation
· Salary $100-$120K , depending on experience
· Profit Sharing Plan

Position Requirements
· Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Business, Logistics, Engineering, or another industry-related field preferred but not required
· At least 10 years of Construction Management experience including three years in an upper management role required
· MUST HAVE A STRONG BACKGROUND IN THE PLUMBING INDUSTRY
- Must be able to monitor project budgets and demonstrated success in managing profitability of an organization
- Record of success in managing and growing a business
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Strong supervisory and leadership skills
· Extensive knowledge of the principles, procedures, and best practices in the industry
· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
· Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
· Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
