Logan Contractors Supply is a family-owned company that has been in business since 1990 and is a leader in the construction supply industry. We are seeking a dedicated and motivated individual to join our team as a Driver at our Des Moines, IA location.
Key Responsibilities
- Operating semi-tractor and trailer
- Loading, unloading, and strapping all truckloads
- Delivering truckloads in a safe and timely manner
- Use of pallet jack, forklift
- Safely transport goods to and from specified destinations.
- Follow assigned routes and time schedules.
- Load and unload products/equipment when required.
- Conduct regular maintenance checks on the vehicle to ensure it is in good condition.
- Maintain logs of working hours and delivery times.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other team members.
Training
- Forklift experience preferred, but on-site training available
Qualifications
- Class A CDL with air brakes
- Satisfactory driving record
- Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen & physical testing
