We are currently seeking qualified applicants for our rebar fabricator position at our Des Moines, IA location. As a member of our fabrication team, you will contribute to the timely production of high-quality rebar products used in construction projects across the region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate machinery to cut and bend rebar material to specified dimensions.
- Ensure products are fabricated to meet customer deadlines and quality standards.
- Operate material-handling equipment to move rebar materials efficiently.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Follow all safety protocols and company policies.
- Assist other team members with shop-related tasks and any other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Familiarity with a variety of general shop tools.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting measurements using a tape measure.
- High school diploma, GED, or local/state equivalent.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds.
- Ability to work overtime when required.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- This is a safety-sensitive position; applicants must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and physical.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Starting pay: $40,000 - $50,000 per year.
