Maintenance Technician
Logan County Metropolitan Housing Authority is looking to hire a maintenance technician. The position is full-time. The hours will be Monday-Friday 8:00 am – 4:30 pm (With some overtime). The position comes with a handsome salary with room to improve based off experience and knowledge. Here at the LCMHA we provide affordable housing assistance for eligible families and people in need. We are a federally funded political subdivision and work directly with HUD.
Job Description
Performs a variety of unskilled and semi-skilled maintenance activities (renovation, scheduled maintenance and emergency maintenance) in order to ensure proper upkeep of agency buildings (e.g., plumbing, HVAC, drywall, painting, carpentry; cleans units during turnover; completes janitorial assignments; moves equipment and materials; responds to emergency after-hours calls for repairs and other assistance as needed).
Qualifications
High school diploma; Valid driver’s license, Completion of secondary education; two (2) or more years’ experience in the semi-skilled maintenance of building and grounds, or equivalent.
