JOB DESCRIPTION
TITLE: Chieftain Center Facilitator - Administrative Supplemental
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Two or four-year College or university degree in Sports Management, Business, Marketing, or Communication.
Must have Pupil Activity Permit.
Experience working as an event planner.
Excellent written skills including experience writing marketing or public relations text.
Strong interpersonal skills including experience building and maintaining relationships with a diverse network of individuals and organizations.
Strong organizational skills including attention to detail and ability to multitask.
Time management skills and ability to prioritize a large volume of tasks.
Self-motivation, enthusiasm, and willingness to learn.
Great customer service skills.

JOB OBJECTIVES:
Professional duties include assisting in the planning, developing, coordinating, and implementing programs and events at the Chieftain Center.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
12-month position.
Salary in accordance with the Logan-Hocking School District Administrative Package.
COMPENSATION: $20,000
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist the Chieftain Center in the following areas:
Planning, organizing, developing, scheduling, and enforcing rules, for special events, facility rentals, and overseeing day-to-day scheduled events of the facility.
Training, supervising, scheduling, and evaluating part-time personnel and volunteers; assigns work schedules. Trains staff on procedures and policies.
Scheduling the Center facilities and supervising conditions of the facilities such as set-ups and breakdowns of facility equipment and resources, after-hour rentals, and event planning of the facility. Assists with security for the building and grounds, makes safety checks, and ensures the safety of patrons.
Maintains inventory of supplies and equipment; distributes supplies and equipment.
Prepares and administers event budgets as appropriate; monitors expenditures and payroll in accordance with established procedures.
Provides support with program registration and facility booking, for the Center; answers telephones, maintains correspondence with other divisions or agencies, administers rentals of the facility, assists with all financial transactions including deposits, cash drawer setups, balances daily money intakes, event summary reports, etc.
Works collaboratively with the Activity/Athletic/Chieftain Center Director.
All other duties as assigned.
Salary : $20,000
