QUALIFICATIONS : Must hold a valid Ohio Teaching Certificate .
QUALIFICATIONS :
- Be competent in coaching skills, techniques, and strategies.
- Be knowledgeable in all aspects of football.
- Prior varsity coaching experience is required.
- Must have, or be willing to obtain, a valid Ohio Public Activity Supervisor Certification.
- Must be certified in CPR.
- Be knowledgeable of the rules and guidelines for football.
- The Superintendent or his / her designee may deem other qualifications as necessary and appropriate.
The Head Football Coach will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the football program, including but not limited to planning, training, game management, and fostering a culture of excellence, sportsmanship and inclusivity. Proven experience as a high school football coach, with head coaching experience preferred.

Job Qualifications :

Reports to : Director of Student Activities
Job Description :
1. Be responsible for the performance, behavior, and general well-being of the athletes in the football program.
2. Be responsible for the maintenance of equipment, uniforms, and facilities.
3. Work with the Director of Student Activities concerning scheduling and disciplinary action.
4. Work with and support the Athletic Booster Club.
5. Be responsible for informing the media of contest results.
6. Attend and participate, where necessary, in any related awards ceremony.
7. Be responsible for following and abiding by all athletes' participation, rules, and regulations as established by the Logan School District and OHSAA.
8. Guide and direct coaches of the 7th, 8th, and 9th grade teams.
9. Provide the Director of Student Activities with program goals and expectations.
10. Other duties as assigned by the Director of Student Activities.
