Logan-Magnolia CSD sits in Southwest Iowa approximately 30 miles north of the Council Bluffs/Omaha Metro Area. The district has a rich history of high academic performance and outstanding community support. The 2025-2026 school year brings a big changes for the district. The Logan-Magnolia CSD is progressive and desires to serve students of all learning abilities within the walls of their own building. Applicants should demonstrate a deep level of love for student learning and growth as well as a passion for leading a new endeavour. This position will serve students in grade K-5.
Job Duties:
- Care for and serve students and families and with a servant minded approach.
- Plans a program of study that meets the needs, interests, and abilities of students
- Maintains all records for students, building, district, and state requirements
- Builds and maintains open communication and strong relationships with families and guardians
- Creates a climate that is conducive to learning and appropriate to the maturity and interests of students
- Employs methods and materials that are appropriate for meeting stated objectives
- Assess the accomplishments of students on a regular basis and provide progress reports
- Attend staff meetings and serve on committees as required
- Develop and maintain an effective level of communication with appropriate personnel
- Strives to maintain and improve professional competence and growth
- Works collaboratively with content area/grade level teams
