Description
Logan Regional Medical Center has a current need for a Phlebotomist to perform the following duties:
- Labels, processes and delivers specimens for testing
- Collects blood specimens using age-appropriate techniques
- Maintains equipment and medical supplies
- Assists with coordinating and conducting blood drives, including interviewing and screening donors
- Assist other staff members in various healthcare duties related to blood work

Qualifications
Minimum Education
- High School Diploma or Equivalent Preferred
Certifications:
- Basic Life Support (BLS) required to be obtained within 30 days of hire

- Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action
