Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
- Manage the bar inventory, including ordering supplies and tracking usage to minimize waste.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and offering recommendations.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and alcohol service regulations.
- Operate POS systems efficiently for order processing and payment transactions.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food items when applicable.
- Handle customer inquiries or complaints in a professional manner, ensuring guest satisfaction.
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or bartending is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple orders during peak hours.
- Familiarity with brewing techniques and cocktail preparation is a plus.
- Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations is essential.
- Experience in a nightclub or restaurant setting is advantageous but not mandatory.
