Logan Simpson has an immediate opening for a regular full-time Project Coordinator/Environmental Planner to work a hybrid in-office schedule of approximately 40 hours per week, out of our downtown Tempe, AZ office.

Responsibilities Include:
- Provide administrative and technical support for projects on public lands and communities throughout Arizona, Utah, Nevada, and other western states.
- Assist with multi-disciplinary office demands and project-related work with our Environmental Planning team.
- Assist with preparation of sections of environmental reports, including technical editing and technical research assistance.
- Arrange and attendance at project meetings, including preparation of meeting agendas and summaries.
- Assist project manager and resource leads with maintaining project schedule and reporting requirements.
- Assist project manager with action items and follow-up regarding due items.
- Perform a wide variety of typing assignments which are sometimes confidential in nature.
- Operates computer to enter data, draft, edit, revise, and print letters, including meeting summaries, tables, reports, and other materials.
- Occasional travel to visit project sites and attend public outreach events may be anticipated.
- Provide backup for office administrative tasks as needed
Position Requires:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, and strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to keep others on task, monitor deadlines, and maintain strong organizational skills.
- Proficient in English composition, grammar, spelling and punctuation, and basic math.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, multitask, and be able to adjust to daily changes in priorities to meet deadlines.
- Develop and maintain good working relationships with staff and clients.
- Desire to work independently, yet collaboratively in a team environment and promote a diverse, inclusive environment.
- Enthusiastic and self-motivated, with a willingness to expand knowledge base and problem-solve regarding a wide range of tasks, duties, and potential projects.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite products (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat.
- Possess a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Environmental Studies, Biology, Urban Planning, or related field.
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite such as InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
- Experience working in the environmental field.
Compensation:
This position is paid on an hourly basis between $20.00 to $25.00 per hour, depending on experience and education.
