Logan’s Garden Shop, a thriving garden center in Raleigh, NC, is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Clerk / Assistant to join our dynamic team. 25-$30 / hour (based on experience)

Perks : 30% Employee Discount

25-30 hours a week during peak seasons / 20-25 hours during off seasons

About the Role :

As an Accounting Clerk / Assistant, you will be a key member of our finance team, responsible for supporting the accurate and timely processing of financial transactions. Your duties will include :

Accounts Payable : Processing vendor invoices, reconciling statements, managing check runs.

Accounts Receivable : Processing customer payments, managing customer accounts, and assisting with collections.

General Ledger Support : Assisting with month-end closing, preparing reports, and supporting the Controller.

Customer Service : Answering phone inquiries, providing exceptional customer service, and contributing to a positive store environment.

Ideal Candidate :

Adept in Accounting : Proven experience in accounting payable / receivable, strong Excel skills, and a solid understanding of accounting principles.

Detail-Oriented and Accurate : Meticulous attention to detail with the ability to maintain accuracy and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.

Customer-Focused : Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with strong customer service orientation.

Proactive and Solutions-Oriented : Ability to identify and resolve issues proactively, and a willingness to go the extra mile.

Team Player : Collaborative and supportive team member who thrives in a dynamic environment.
