What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cross Categorical Teacher position at Logansport Community School Corporation?
Job Description:
- Work with students to meet their educational and behavioral needs
- Work directly with the general education teachers and support staff to provide services
- Support student education goals, develop lesson plans that support classroom content standards in a resource setting, and be able to make good educational decisions for students
Job Requirements:
- Be self-motivated, think on your feet, be compassionate, and understand the needs of children.
- Create and implement Individualized Learning Plans, Facilitate Annual Case Reviews, Ability to communicate effectively with parents/guardians, organized, and flexible.
- Special education Licensure is preferred.

- Understands intermediate elementary classroom requirements,
- Experience working with children with diverse needs
- Upon offer, applicant must complete and clear a drug screen and criminal history background check for school personnel as required by IN state law
