Job Description: Certified
- Lead teacher in a Kindergarten classroom with an instructional assistant, in a school with approximately 440 students and four sections of each grade level.
- Contract is for 185 days.
Job Requirements:
- Creating engaging and age-appropriate lesson plans aligned with grade level standards, organizing learning activities, fostering a nurturing environment, teaching foundational literacy and numeracy skills, promoting social/emotional development, assessing and monitoring student progress, maintaining open communication with parents, and ensuring a safe learning environment.
- This position requires exceptional instructional skills in addition to strong communication skills and collaborative efforts.
- This position requires the supervision of an instructional assistant.
- Must complete and clear drug screen and expanded criminal history background check for school personnel as required by IN state law.
\Job Qualifications:
- Holds a current Indiana Teacher’s license in Early Childhood or Elementary Education
