What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cardiac Rehab Tech (Patient Care Tech) - PRN position at Logansport Memorial Hospital?
Job Description:
- Must demonstrate the knowledge and skills to provide care appropriate to the age of the patient served
- Ability to act effectively in crisis situations
- Assists with electrode placement and performs such tasks as BP monitoring and recording EKG strips at specific intervals
- Assists in performing routine clerical duties, maintaining a clean environment
Job Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED
- BLS required, ACLS preferred
Previous experience in assessing vital signs - taking vitals and recognizing abnormal vital signs
FTE Status: PRN (hours as needed) M-F Days
