Overview

We are actively seeking an accomplished Sr. Director of AI and Data Modernization with extensive consulting experience to lead our efforts in transforming client organizations through state-of-the-art artificial intelligence and data strategies. This role demands a visionary leader who is not only proficient in client relationship management and technical acumen but also capable of architecting and operationalizing robust data modernization initiatives. You will be pivotal in developing and executing innovative strategies that leverage AI technologies and data architectures to accelerate digital transformation, enhance operational efficiencies, and drive revenue growth within our portfolio of services. Additionally, you will oversee the customer success mechanisms to ensure superior service delivery and fulfillment of key performance objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Vision and Leadership: Define and implement comprehensive AI and data modernization strategies aligned with organizational goals, ensuring a robust pipeline of innovative service offerings that scale within our Cloud Professional Services division.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Cultivate and maintain strategic relationships with C-suite executives, data and analytics leaders, and key stakeholders across target industries, effectively communicating the value proposition of AI-driven data modernization initiatives.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with cross-disciplinary teams including data engineers, data scientists, and solutions architects to integrate feedback from customer interactions into the development and refinement of AI solutions and data strategies.
• Market Insight and Trends: Proactively monitor industry trends, regulatory developments, and technological advancements in AI and data management, adapting strategies and service offerings accordingly to maintain a competitive edge.
• Team Development and Mentorship: Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of high-performing professionals in AI and data analytics, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability to achieve organizational objectives.
  
  

Technical Requirements

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience: A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience related to data modernization, AI implementation, and technical leadership within IT consulting or enterprise environments.
• Performance Metrics: Documented success in driving revenue growth through effective management of large-scale AI and data-driven programs, showing a strong ability to exceed defined performance metrics.
• Technical Proficiency:
• Deep expertise in AI technologies, machine learning algorithms, and advanced analytics frameworks.
• Extensive knowledge of data architecture, database management systems, data warehousing solutions, and ETL processes.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and their AI/data services, including tools for data storage, analytics, and machine learning (e.g., Amazon SageMaker, Azure Machine Learning).
• Financial Acumen: Proven competency in managing large-scale budgets and P&L responsibilities in excess of $20M, demonstrating fiscal oversight and strategic resource allocation.
• Project Execution: Successful history of leading data modernization initiatives and AI implementations in complex corporate environments, with quantifiable impacts on business outcomes.
• Collaboration Across Teams: Expertise in building and nurturing effective working relationships with both onsite and distributed teams to foster seamless integration of AI solutions into operational processes.
• Consultative Background: Experience in developing and scaling AI-centric consulting services, ensuring that client engagements are delivered effectively and yield significant business value.
• Communication Skills: Exceptional abilities in articulating complex technical concepts to diverse audiences, including business stakeholders, technical teams, and executives, with strong presentation and negotiation skills.
• Customer Relationship Management: Proven track record of establishing deep customer relationships and driving client success through the implementation of AI and data solutions.
